Mr. Gold primarily handles Trust and Estate litigation, as well as conservatorships. These actions include both defending and prosecuting contests, elder abuse and actions against fiduciaries for breach of fiduciary duty. In addition to participating in multiple highly publicized cases, Mr. Gold recently completed a trial that lasted over one calendar year and made a huge splash in the probate community. He was able to obtain a very large judgement against professional fiduciaries who breached their fiduciary duties to his beneficiary client. Mr. Gold handles all aspects of litigation, including trials, discovery, and appellate work, and he has successfully obtained multiple published opinions. Mr. Gold also takes pride in being personally involved in each of his cases.

Mr. Gold received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. He is admitted to practice law in California, the United State District Court (Northern and Central Districts), and the United States Tax Court.
In his personal life, Mr. Gold loves sending time with his wife and two kids, is an avid mountain biker and skier, and loves the Dodgers, Lakers, and the California Golden Bears. Mr. Gold points out that his loyalty to the Golden Bears, despite their long, consistent history of delivering heartbreak, is a testament to his loyalty and shows that he rides with his friends, family and clients through thick and thin.

Julie applies a broad background in litigation to find creative and effective solutions that protect and advance her clients interests. She handles disputes involving trusts, estates, probate and conservatorships, and works to effectively resolve claims concerning breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence, lack of capacity and the validity of wills and trusts. She represents beneficiaries, fiduciaries and financial and charitable institutions in contested trust and probate matters. Clients appreciate Julie’s engaging demeanor, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
Julie has received numerous peer awards, including Super Lawyer Rising Star Award in 2015, 2016, 2017 and Super Lawyer recognition in 2018.
Julie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and received her Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law. She was an Associate Editor of the Southwestern Law Journal, Journal of Americas.
In her personal life, Julie loves spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling with her family, trying new foods, cooking, yoga, and spending as much time as possible outside. Julie is also a dedicated volunteer within the community, actively involved in her children’s schools and interests.
